Altosens specializes in the development of intelligent sensor washers that monitor safety-critical bolted joints. Their products utilize a ring force sensor technology combined with integrated digital signal processing and CAN communication (CANopen) to measure axial forces in real time. The sensors also capture temperature and motion data, providing precise measurement data for predictive maintenance in critical infrastructure applications. The technology is based on decades of research in sensor technology and measurement engineering, developed in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute LBF.
