About
Redback Systems manufactures compact, fibre-coupled echelle spectrometers designed for medium-resolution spectroscopy across the ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared spectral range. Their products include the RS4k Spectrometer, which is available in two wavelength configurations (220–850 nm or 300–850 nm) and provides a resolving power of R~4,000. The spectrometers are suitable for applications such as laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), simultaneous multi-element analysis, and endpoint detection in semiconductor material processing. They utilize back-illuminated CMOS sensor technology for high sensitivity and integrate with RedSolve data visualization software.
