In operation since 1960, Columbus Metal Industries, LLC, is one of the largest scrap metal recyclers and processors in the state of Nebraska. Based in Columbus, Neb., it buys scrap from large manufacturing plants, small businesses, local dealers, farmers and individuals throughout the state of Nebraska and bordering states. Recycling and processing both ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal, it sells the processed materials to various consumers across the United States. The company provides additional services, including industrial transportation, material analysis with spectrometer and more. Adopting eco-friendly methods, Columbus Metal Industries is a member of Institute for Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI).
