Fluoromet Ltd is redefining how critical minerals and rare earth elements are refined and revalued in Australia. Based on the NSW Central Coast, Fluoromet is pioneering next-generation refining technologies that transform ores, concentrates, and even mining waste into premium-grade products - achieving high recoveries, ultra-low emissions, and near-zero waste. Our process enables sequential extraction of multiple elements, turning tailings into new sources of strategic value. Fluoromet is helping close Australia’s mid-stream gap - the missing link between raw resource and refined product. Instead of exporting concentrates offshore, our modular refining platform enables domestic production of lithium, rare earths, alumina, silica, tantalum and other high-value materials, strengthening supply chains and national capability. To take this technology to industry, Fluoromet established Liberate Minerals, its commercialisation partner with an exclusive global licence to deploy the Resource Maximisation Process (RMP). Fluoromet leads scientific development and pilot engineering, while Liberate builds the commercial pathways and modular mid-stream hubs for deployment across Australia and future global markets. Our multidisciplinary team continues to advance the RMP from lab validation toward pilot-scale operations, proving that sustainable refining can also be commercially superior - unlocking value, creating regional jobs, and supporting sovereign resilience across the resource sector.
