Welcome to Efficient Blue . . . a joint research project between Nanomatch and the LEXOS group at IAPP, TU Dresden to develop highly efficient and durable fluorescent OLEDs. Our goal is to develop fluorescent emitters in combination with suitable host materials where the generation of potentially harmful triplets is eliminated. This Singlet-Only concept enables simple stack designs with low-cost, purely organic materials. We follow an integrated approach between computer driven design and experimental R&D to resolve the major challenge of OLED technology: Efficient Blue.
