About
We facilitate the virtual design of organic electronic (OE) materials and devices by developing predictive, easy-to-use software for parameter--free simulation of OE devices starting from first principles. Following an automated bottom up multiscale modeling approach, our software can be applied to predict properties on the device scale, e. g. charge carrier mobilities or I-V characteristics for pristine layers, guest-host systems, or even full multilayer stacks including electrodes. This allows the development of materials and the optimization of layer structures of organic electronic devices fully in the computer, therefore saving time and money by minimizing experimental trial-and-error based R&D.
