Brian Grice, the owner of the Shot-Gun-Mount.com is an Opto-Mechanical Design Engineer with over 40 years’ experience working in Defence, Space, Aerospace and product Design. He has over 25 years’ experience in the Defence industry alone with Thales AFV systems, formally Helio Mirror Ltd. Brian was the Principal Opto-Mechanical Engineer and design Authority for Laser Protected Vision systems and One Man Machine Gun Turrets for Armoured Vehicles. Brian's main area of expertise was in the design of Ballistic Graticule (Reticle) patterns used in Machine Gun Sighting Systems utilising calibres ranging from 7.62mm GPMG to 40mm AGL. Patterns were correcting for trajectory (bullet drop), drift, parallax and gun jump. Brian's passion for Clay Pigeon Shooting and his expertise of Ballistics has spurred on the design of the SGS-100 by amalgamating his Ballistics, Optics and Mechanical design skills. He has designed the SGS-100 from the ground up embracing 1st principles, experienced gained and inputs from other users.
