Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant (ZAP) stands as the sole producer of grinding materials in Ukraine and ranks among the largest abrasive manufacturers in Eastern Europe. Established in 1939, the company offers a diverse range of products, including: - Silicon carbide - Brown fused aluminum oxide - Boron nitride - Boron carbide. We also provide various abrasive tools, such as scraping, grinding, and cutting wheels, in various types and sizes. Our customer base includes a wide range of industries, in particular automotive, aerospace, construction, metallurgy, metalworking, defense, and security. ZAP provides products to clients in Germany, Turkey, Georgia, Lithuania, Poland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Switzerland, the USA, Spain, France, etc. In 2024, we celebrated the 85th anniversary and started a modernization of our brand by updating the label for our cutting-wheels line. In production, we use cutting-edge technologies and adhere to strict quality control standards, which are validated by the ISO 9001 conformity certificate. Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant was the first in the region to obtain the status of authorized economic operator, which gave us benefits like faster customs clearance and reduced border crossing costs. We strive for eco-modernization; ZAP upgrades aspiration equipment and switches to modern fabric filtration systems. This helps to eliminate water usage in dust collectors, reduce emissions, and increase the reuse of captured dust.
