About
Bear Technologies, located in Rochester, N.Y., manufactures process-monitoring systems for use in a variety of industries/applications. Its monitoring system continuously scans each of its 48 optically isolated inputs for a cyclic signal from its customers machines. These signals are then coded and sent to a customer s IBM or compatible personal computer via a standard RS232 serial connection. Bear Technologies system is used for injection molding companies, blow and compression molding, pressure and vacuum forming applications and secondary operations, such as hot stamping and sonic welding.
