In 1955, the first self-contained four point probe head was invented, reducing probing time from 15 minutes to 30 seconds. Thus, Signatone Corporation was launched. The company offers probing equipment and accessories for failure analysis and research and development probing. Its products include probe stations, hot and cold chucks and temperature controllers, micropositioners, probe tips and holders, radio frequency microwave probing, microscopes, resistivity test equipment and accessories. Signatone also offers its signature solutions of photonics, DC/CV probing, thermal characterization, low current analysis and micro electro-mechanical systems testing. Signatone is headquartered in Gilroy, Calif.
