Pierre Coderre is providing engineering services on the design and on the verification of Integrated Circuits. He can also develop custom Perl scripts for various applications. Pierre has more than 20 years of experience in the Semiconductor Industry. He has been involved in many roles such as IC design engineer, IC verification engineer, product engineer, test engineer, analog design engineer and IC CAD engineer. His experience provides him with a very good understanding of all the phases of the development of Integrated Circuits. Pierre has a very good understanding of the low power design challenges as he has recently spent two and half years working on an ultra-low power implantable medical device. His most recent contract involved, in other things, writing assertions (PSL) and working with Cadence’s formal analysis tool. Pierre is fluent with Perl (and Perl/Tk) and he has been developing scripts for various purposes especially to improve the quality and/or the speed of his work as well as other people’s work. He has proven abilities at understanding and solving complex design and verification problems as highlighted by some of his references. He has very good communication and inter-personal skills. He truly enjoys working in a team but he can, as easily, work alone without any supervision. He lives in the Ottawa area (Gatineau) and he usually works from his home office. Pierre is bilingual (French and English).
