Nikon Precision Europe GmbH (NPE) is a subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, a leading global supplier of Semiconductor lithography systems to a very diverse range of high-tech applications. Established in 1917, Nikon is one of the world’s leading optical companies. With decades of experience as a manufacturer of optical lenses and precision equipment, Nikon developed the world’s first production-worthy step-and-repeat photolithography tool in 1980. Since then, over 60 models of Nikon Semiconductor Photolithography systems (steppers and scanners) have printed half of all the integrated circuits (ICs) ever manufactured. NPE provides sales and customer support (service, applications, technical support) for Nikon’s photolithography systems at key manufacturing locations spanning the whole of Europe.
