Nuvoton Technology Israel Ltd. (“Nuvoton Israel“), located in Hertzliah Pituah, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nuvoton Technology Corporation, a publicly owned semiconductor solution provider based in Taiwan and listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. The history of Nuvoton Israel dates back to the grassroots of the Israeli semiconductor industry in the 1970s, when it was established as the Israeli R&D center of National Semiconductor Corporation. In 2005 the design center was acquired by Winbond Electronics and was later spun off as Nuvoton Corporation. It is currently Nuvoton’s largest design center outside of Taiwan.
