Move2THz develops a sustainable Indium Phosphide-on-silicon (InPoSi) platform and an integrated European ecosystem for sub-THz and THz semiconductor applications. The project focuses on upscaling InP wafer size and volume to be compatible with CMOS manufacturing while reducing the use of rare materials and environmental impact. It builds a commercially and industry viable InP platform covering substrates, manufacturing, design, and foundry services. Move2THz targets future wireless, optical, satellite communication, and 6G-related use cases that require high data rates and high-frequency operation.
